MOGICS is a little company founded about seven years ago which makes a variety of funky electrical stuff. My brother introduced me to their clever Donut power strip, and let me know they were Kickstarting a new version - Super BAGEL - that's even better. So I backed the Kickstarter and got their Macaron as well. Both just arrived arrived a couple years ago but I'm just now getting around to talking about them.

MACARON

The MACARON is the same size - by volume - as Apple's 18W phone charger, including the US plug sticking out one end. And they cost the same $30. But this little gizmo is twice as powerful: it's a 45-watt USB-C adapter that will charge a laptop. And unlike the Apple charger, it includes an integrated 60cm charging cord. Plus plug-on adapter tips for micro-USB and Lightning ports that live in a little compartment. And a flashlight with a presumably-quite-tiny battery inside. Did I mention it's so small that it fits in a watch pocket?
